STORM kicked-off 2022
On 28th of January, 2022 project STORM consortium members kicked-off the second year of the project remotely. It’s been a hard 2021 for all of us working and meeting remotely, but we keep our smiles up and hopes for 2022!
In the beginning of the meeting we welcomed our new project members from ERTICO-ITS – Dimitrios Vovolis and Nikolaos Tsampieris and VTT – Mehdi Jahangir Samet.
Over the meeting it was discussed the progress of the project works in 2021, as well as the performed internal financial review for 2021 by the VTT’s financial officer Marika Hölttä. Later on, the project coordinator Dr. Yancho Torodov, presented the project technical program and timeline for 2022, as well as the tentative list of events where STORM should focus in 2022.
We welcomed also our first project papers in STORM, published by Daniel Speth and Patrick Plötz from Faunhofer ISI:
Paper # 1 Synthetic European road freight transport flow data
Paper # 2 Hydrogen technology is unlikely to play major role in sustainable transport
