STORM first webinar – The Future of Freight

The STORM project is happy to announce its first webinar addressing the future of freight, which will be held online on the 17th of June 2021, (Watch the recording)

STORM focuses on the emerging needs of the freight and logistics sectors, including digitization and sustainability, and it aims at identifying the sector’s needs and knowledge gaps.

This webinar will provide an insight on STORM’s activities, topics and challenges for the freight sector, with two main focus points: policy and technologies. The agenda will be as follow:

15:00 Introduction
STORM’s coordinator, Dr. Yancho Todorov (VTT), will welcome the audience and provide an overview of the project, its planning and objectives.
15:15 Technology and trends
This session will address the current technological developments and knowledge needs in freight transport, with a short statement from each panelist followed by a discussion.

15:45 Policy, drivers and barriers
The session will address the current policy developments and knowledge needs, as well as the drivers and barriers for change in freight transport. A short statement from each panelist will be followed by a broader discussion.
